They say I could only virtually walk before I could hold a camera, but my real journey started on a family holiday in Spain. I begged my father for a cheap, plastic camera that probably cost next to nothing—but to me, it was everything. It was the moment I realized I didn’t just want to look at the world; I wanted to frame it.
Since those early days, my career has taken me from the dramatic wings of the theatre and film sets to the precision of commercial environments. That background taught me how to work under pressure and, more importantly, how to find the “truth” in a frame. Whether I’m shooting a high-stakes corporate headshot or a fashion editorial, my goal is always the same: to tell a story that is real.
I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals build their portfolios and define their professional identities through headshots, fashion, and architectural photography.
What
But my first love that taught me light? Will always be the wild. When I’m not behind the lens for a client, you’ll find me lost in a landscape or tracking wildlife. It’s where I recharge, and it’s the foundation of everything I know about light, patience, and the perfect shot.
The “Soul-Searcher” Photographer Draft
No “Cheese.” Just the Real Story Behind Your Eyes.
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, but in photography, they’re the map of the moment. When you’re in front of my lens—whether it’s for a high-fashion editorial, a professional headshot, or a beauty session—I’m looking for more than just a smile. I’m looking into your eyes to see what you’re thinking about.
I don’t do “cheesy” photos. I’m not interested in forced poses or staged perfection. My goal is for you to look at your portrait years from now and say, “I remember when Martin took that—I remember exactly what I was thinking about what was going to happen next that day.”
What I Do
While my roots are in the technical world of film, theatre, and commercial environments, my heart is in human connection. I specialize in:
- Headshots & Portfolios: Building a professional image that actually looks like you.
- Beauty & Fashion: High-end aesthetics meets authentic character.
- Family: Rare times when the family all get together.
- Animals and pets Very hard to get right lots of patience , but when it is is furry art.
- Weddings & events: I treat every wedding with the feeling of a family. I’ve captured lots of couples, but I approach each one as a unique story, documenting the nerves, the joy, and the quiet thoughts in between the big moments.
- Architecture & Landscapes: My “personal favourites” where I find the same stillness and story I look for in a human face.
I capture life’s genuine moments—whether it’s a once-in-a-blue-moon family portrait a high-energy event, or your in need of a standout fashion portfolio. I also specialise in creating professional headshots that help you put your best face forward for business.
